I test-drove a vintage McDonald's concoction. Allow me to elaborate. About 25 years ago or so, some head honcho types over at McDick's had two ideas for a new menu item, and room for only one. The solution was, of course, to have an epic, week-long comp. The two delicacies were fiercely pitted against one another at a regular McDick's location - Whichever sold more in the span of the week would be introduced nationwide. The loser got served, in the sense of "You suckas just got served", not in the sense of served at the restaurant.
